Can someone work out how long it would take for the dub to catch up to the sub.

If you mean catch up to where it is now, it'll take about 5 years at a rate of 1 episode per week on average.

If you mean just catch up totally if it's at a rate of 1 episode per week on average it'll never catch up since they progress equally fast.

If it maintains a magical rate of 2 episodes a week on average it'll catch up to the sub in 5 years.
